Essie Davis is an Australian actress best known for her roles as Phryne Fisher in Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries and Amelia Vanek in The Babadook. She has also appeared in many Australian and American television series and continues to be one of the few bright and successful Australian actors in Hollywood.
